Adrienne will never know the importance of the role she plays in On Track Ministries. She was only two years old when we started ministering at Baer Field Speedway. She would sit and play in the dirt with other toddlers at the end of the bleachers. While this may have seemed like innocent child's play to some, it provided an opportunity for Theresa to "hang out" and build relationships with the other parents and grandparents at the track. Although, she is not in the dirt at the end of the bleachers anymore, Adrienne still enjoys "hanging out" with the families at the track.
Adrienne is bold in her witness for the Lord at the track. She loves building relationships with those we come in contact with while ministering at the track. It seems the "hanging out" ministry philosophy is a natural for Adrienne. She is so important when it comes to promoting Race Day events and Church Group Night at the race tracks. She is the first one to volunteer to pass out flyers and invitations to OTM events. It is a joy to sit back and watch her build relationships in the racing community. Each of these connections is opportunity for ministry.
The Lord has blessed Adrienne with a beautiful voice and she loves to sing. She often has the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the race track. As we travel across the country speaking in churches, she loves the opportunity to sing before I speak. She is a tremendous blessing to our family and a wonderful asset to On Track Ministries. |
